Capilla Del Fraile Red 05Grapes:70% Syrah, 30 % Petit Verdot.
Aging: 12 months in french Allier oak barrels.

Tasting Report: A perfect assembly of Syrah and Petit Verdot grape varieties produces this full wine which has a pretty red cherry colour with a garnet rim. It is elegant and complex on the nose with notes of cocoa, spices and balsamic touches standing out from a base of black fruits. The wine is smooth with tannins softened by a long maturation in top quality French oak barrels. The wine is full with a multitude of harmonious nuances in its finish. Powerful with a pleasing aftertaste.
Advices: Consume at 16-18 ºC. Perfect with all types of meats.

Capilla del Fraile Rosé 08

Grapes: Syrah.
Bottles: 12.000.
Tasting Report: The best Syrah grapes are selected and the wine made by the ‘sangrado’ method which involves macerating the must with the grape skins. The colour is an intense, lively raspberry, brilliant with a bluish rim. It has an explosion of aromas of mature red fruit and white flowers. In the mouth it is fresh, very fruity, expressive and with great balance. Advices: Consume at 9-10°C with all types of salads, shellfish, pasta and grilled meats.

Capilla del Fraile 2004, Red Wine.Grapes: Syrah and Petit Verdot.
Aging: 14 months in french Allier oak barrels.
Bottles: 57,000.
Tasting Report: Deep cherry red hue with a hint of blue, with high color intensity, brilliant and clear. This wine has a highly complex aroma (spicy touches, coconut) as a result of its aging on top quality wood; the bouquet is enveloped in very ripe black fruits and cedary notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and intense, with a very elegant, polished tannin that is perfectly balanced with the fruit. Long, excelent finish.

Capilla del Fraile 2007, Rosé.

Grapes: Syrah.
Bottles: 6,000.
Tasting Report: Lovely strawberry pink in color, very brilliant and clean. On the nose it reveals notes of ripe red fruits, long-stem strawberry, with a very intense base of white flowers. Expressive in the mouth, with balanced acidity and a smooth, creamy texture.
