Capilla del Fraile 2004, Red Wine.
|
|
Grapes: Syrah and Petit Verdot.
Aging: 14 months in french Allier oaks barrels.
Bottles: 57,000.
Tasting Report: Deep cherry red hue with a hint of blue, with high color intensity, brilliant and clear. This wine has a highly complex aroma (spicy touches, coconut) as a result of its aging on top quality wood; the bouquet is enveloped in very ripe black fruits and cedary notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and intense, with a very elegant, polished tannin that is perfectly balanced with the fruit. Long, excelent finish. |
